PERSONAL EVACUATION

Course duration: 1/2 Day

Audience: Anyone who requires an abseil evacuation in the event of Fire or other emergency.

Course aim: To Provide knowledge and training in the safe use of emergency evacuation equipment.

Course content:

Introduction to the evacuation system

Maintanenance and servicing procedures

Demonstration of use by the instructor

Low Level Descents

High Level Descents

Pre-training requirements: Medical Declaration

Maximum Instructor to student ratio: 1 : 8

Period of valid certification: The certificate is valid for a maximum of one years.

Throughout the course, the student will be continually assessed and expected to complete a written examination

Only on successful completion of the whole course and examination will the candidate be issued with a Certificate of Competence.
