Tower Crane Erector Rescue Training

Course duration: 1 Day

Audience: All Personnel who may be able to offer a first response to a colleague who is in need of assistance at height whilst working on site.

Course aim: To provide knowledge and training in the safe use of rescue equipment. To enable the swift recovery of an incapacitated climber in a Fall Arrest situation.

Course content:

Introduction to the System and its applications

Maintenance & Servicing Procedures

Suspension trauma and self rescue

Demonstrations of use by instructor

Selection of anchorage points

Lowering Rescue

Hauling Rescue

Pre-training requirements: Medical Questionnaire

Maximum Instructor to student ratio: 1 : 6

Period of valid certification: 1 Year

Throughout the course, the student will be continually assessed and expected to complete an oral and practical examination.

Only on successful completion of the whole course and examination will the candidate be issued with a Certificate of Competence.

The course content, equipment and duration can be tailored to create a bespoke course catering for your specific requirements.
